Description
The Sawgrass Virtuoso SG1000 sublimation printer is built for digital product decorating and Dye sub crafting. It produces standard prints up to 11 x 17 inches and can print up to 13 x 19 inches (A3+) when used with an optional bypass tray. The printer uses SubliJet HD inks, developed for an expanded color gamut and high-definition, photo-quality image reproduction.
Create transfers for custom gifts, promotional products, decorated garments, awards, and interior signage. Compatible substrates include mugs, aluminum panels and inserts, hardboard and wood plaques, tile, acrylic, glass, slate, polyester fabric, and reinforced fiberglass plastic. This makes the system suitable for creating Dye sub printed mugs alongside a broad range of personalized décor and product-decoration projects.
For detailed output, the SG1000 prints up to 1200 x 1200 dpi. Advanced head jetting pressures and algorithms support dot formation, uniformity, and placement accuracy. Production speeds reach up to 156 prints per hour at 600 x 600 dpi; high-quality mode delivers up to 72 prints per hour at 600 x 600 dpi, while advanced photo mode delivers up to 22 prints per hour at 1200 x 1200 dpi.
The package includes the Sawgrass Virtuoso SG1000 printer, a CMYK startup ink kit, 100 sheets of 11 x 17 IMAGE RIGHT paper, and downloadable print and color-management software for Mac OS X 10.6 or later and Windows 7/8. A built-in self-cleaning routine helps keep the printer running with minimal power and ink consumption.
