Description
The Sawgrass Virtuoso SG500 is a desktop sublimation printer for Dye sub projects, producing HD photo-quality prints on media up to 8.5 x 14 inches. Built for digital decorating with SubliJet HD inks, it prints up to 1200 x 1200 dpi with higher-quality dot formation, uniformity, and placement accuracy.
Create transfers for printed mugs, custom gifts, awards, promotional products, decorated garments, and interior signage. Compatible substrates include aluminum panels and inserts, hardboard and wood plaques, tile, mugs, acrylic, glass, slate, polyester fabric, and reinforced fiberglass plastic, giving crafting and product-decoration workflows broad material options.
The included package contains the Sawgrass Virtuoso SG500 printer, a CMYK startup ink kit, 100 sheets of 8.5 x 11 OPTI TRANS DS paper, and downloadable print and color-management software for Mac OSX 10.6 or later and Windows 7/8. Its built-in self-cleaning routine supports ongoing operation with minimal power and ink consumption.
For larger-format transfer work, an optional bypass tray expands the maximum media size to 8.5 x 51 inches. An additional 250-sheet paper feed tray is also available for keeping multiple paper sizes ready to print.
